hi there, thanks for visiting my shop!

my name is breedh - the dh kinda sounds like the g in beige. i'm married to my best friend and wear my mama title like a badge of honor. i am in an era of life that looks a lot like slowing down, but really i'm just stopping to smell the roses of life and learning to enjoy the journey.

muted maple started as a hobby, turned into a passion project, and now it's my full time gig. i feel so fortunate to make sawdust for a living + wouldn't trade it for the world. i love transforming logos into beautiful 3d art pieces to perfectly represent businesses. i also enjoy making line art- faces, vehicles, if you can dream it i can make it. check out my showcase to see more things i enjoy making.

i have dabbled in more creative hobbies than i can count. drawing, photography, and ceramics in high school turned into handmade holiday decor and baby bows in early motherhood. i dabbled in furniture restoration and would try to make nearly anything myself before i'd buy it. i enjoyed making jewelry and metal stamping for a season. somewhere along the way i found videos of people using scroll saws to make wood pieces and i haven't looked back since. i started in my grandpas shop and now i have my own. 

for as long as i can remember i've been surrounded by art and creativity. my grandpa is a very skilled woodworker and has always had an eye for intricate art. my dad can do anything he picks up and do it well, art isn't an exception. my mama was a scrapbooking queen, had a wood craft business, and was the ultimate pinterest mom. i truly learned from the best and i carry pieces of each of them in my work and practices everyday.

i lost my mama to suicide when i was sixteen so mental health and suicide awareness are a major focal point in my life and business. muted maple donates a percentage of each purchase to suicide prevention and postvention non-profit organizations in honor of my mama. the non-profit organization changes each quarter of the year.
